Our History

Randy Gagne started his stained glass career in 1985 doing business as The Glass Menagerie, in Leominster, Massachusetts. The Glass Menagerie sold supplies, taught classes, did custom work, restoration and repair.

In the mid 90’s The Glass Menagerie expanded and relocated to Ashby, Massachusetts. Housed in a 2-story restored 19th century barn, the Glass Menagerie became the areas largest stained glass retailer of glass, supplies, and gifts.  Also teaching 10 classes a week. Also Randy has been teaching classes at a Lawrence Academy in Groton since the mid 90‘s.

The Glass menagerie has developed a software program for simplifying the process of choosing the right stained glass for your home or business. This software which contains a library of thousands of private patterns. This state of the art software is only available to customers of The Glass Menagerie.
